Here I am updating ok?

And I’m here to tell you why I haven’t been updating.

BECAUSE OF HIM!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I’ve been watching 步步惊心 (bu bu jing xin) recently and every time he goes on screen, my heart melts. Every time he goes off screen and I see some one else, my heart hardens, and then he comes on screen and my heart melts again. HAHAHA.

Right now, my heart is in some random shape because of him. HAHAHA!

I haven’t finished watching, but it’s becoming damn draggy, and both Sissy Tan and Yeo Chengfeng are niao-ing me, so there.

And if you’ve seen my emo tweets on me ‘cry die me’, it’s because of this show, nothing to do with my emo-ness. =D

I am, however, pretty emo about a dress that I bought during Chinese New Year.

I haven’t been shopping for Chinese New Year clothes for the longest time because I’ve been shopping online for the past few years. Though not for the occasion itself, I’ve always had enough unworn shirts to wear on the occasion itself. This year, however, I realised that I’ve got nothing to wear! (Because I haven’t been shopping online, and my existing unworn clothing are all in black.)

Therefore, sad me had to go for last minute shopping.

Now, I’ve been wanting to get a red dress for the longest time. Not just for new year, but… well. I just wanted a red dress. Since it was new year, I figured there’ll be plenty of red dresses, thus my search for red dress begun.

It was tough, though, to find a red dress to my liking. After shopping for what seemed like forever, with poor Otes following behind me, bored to death, I saw this dress on a mannequin that looks pretty good to me.

Desperate, I went into the shop. When I saw that it was $29.90, I thought: What a steal! A dress for $29.90 is pretty cheap, and it’s to my liking too!

After trying it out, Otes told me I look pretty good in it (tried one a few in other shops and he told me they are not nice.) and so I got it.

It comes with a belt, but the shop attendants paired the dress with another belt that looks nicer, and so I bought the belt too. The belt was $31, and I bought it because after adding the amount to the dress, it’s only $60, and a dress for $60 is pretty reasonable to me.

So while happily checking for defects on the dress after the cashier had keyed in and processing the transaction, something caught my eye.

The price tag.

The dress.

Is not $29.90.

It.

Costs.

$129.90.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Shocked beyond words, I whispered to Otes:

“OMFG. THE DRESS IS NOT 29! IT’S 129!!!”

Otes opened his eyes wide, and then kept snickering. -_-”

Later on, I found out that $129 is before the calculation of GST, and it’s actual cost is $138.

OH, KILL ME.

I wouldn’t have minded as much if it was from like, Mango or Dorothy Perkins, or some other brands with dresses around this price.

BUT THAT DRESS IS FROM LVER. WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT BRAND IS THIS!? WHAT?! T.T

This is the dress is question.

You are to tell me it’s nice and it compliments me like nothing else, and I look like a fairy descended from the heavens, BECAUSE THIS DRESS IS $140.

*heartache*

After getting this dress, I told Otes I wanted to get a pair of shorts I saw earlier on, and it costs $39.90.

Otes had to rub it in and ask:

“You sure it’s not $139.90?“
