Otes #234534

4 Jan

A conversation took place between Otes and I just now.

Apparently, he doesn’t really know the correct way to address his relatives in Chinese terms. Eg. Father’s elder brother = 伯伯

(Or in this case, Hokkien.)

Si Ghim (四舅母) is your mother’s sister ar?
No. My mother’s brother’s wife.
You got no Ah Ghim meh? Your mother no brothers ar?
Got.
Her brothers all no wife ar?
Got.
Then how you address them?

Hello.
