Hello 2012!
I ended my 2011 with a bang!
Well, 2011 hasn’t been smooth sailing, neither had 2010, 2009 and 2008 (though I can’t really remember what happened much in those past years). Let’s face it, what kinda life doesn’t have ups and downs? Life is, after all, a roller coaster ride, right?
Doesn’t matter how bad anything has been. The important thing is, it’s over now. Moreover, taking recent events into consideration, I would say my 2011 has been a blast.

We went over to The Arena just now, the cab queue back was crazily long. Even the hotlines were jammed! Thankfully, we were lucky enough to get hold of a cab. When we boarded, the cab driver told us that a lady had stopped him and told him that she was willing to pay him $10 extra (on top of all the other charges) if he let her on board. Thank God for honest cab drivers with integrity! =D Booking fee $2.50 nia. Don’t understand why the lady don’t wanna blast taxi companies. Singapore so many taxi companies!
Anyway, what I wanted to say was: MY CAB DRIVER ALMOST RAN SOMEONE OVER.

He was turning, and instead of going the right way (green arrow), he literally drove up the curb (red arrow) and scared the shit out of the pedestrian!
I was asleep and woke up when the taxi driver slammed his brake and caused the taxi to jerk forward. Woke up to see the taxi on the curb, and a very angry pedestrian staring at the driver. (Fuck the pedestrian’s life. First day of 2012 almost kena bang.) I saw the angry pedestrian walking towards the taxi, like he was gonna confront the taxi driver. And instead of apologising, the taxi driver very nonchalantly just drove back to the right track and drove off sia! O.O
Ok the end.
I reached home at 0530 hours, but is heading out now at 0830 hours!
I’ve been awake since 2011! HAHA! Beat that!
